Performing Group Judged Classes

Our Performing Group Judged Classes are specialised dance lessons conducted by luminaries in the dance fraternity. The conduct of these sessions exposes the students to intimate interactions with our esteemed guest instructors, many of whom are Dance Competition judges themselves. Therefore, the learning outcomes of these classes are multifold in that they serve as the best form of 'full dress rehearsal' before taking to the stage in the Competition arena. The personal feedback and pointers for improvements are also priceless in that they come straight from our esteemed instructors themselves who have vast experiences in Dance Competitions. The first question that springs to every student's and parent's mind is "what exactly are dance technique classes"? The follow-up question would typically be "how are they different to what my child is attending here every week"? As the name implies, Dance Technique classes focuses extensively on skills, artistry and execution that goes over and above what is covered in the regular dance classes. An advanced form of dance training, it is meant to provide our all interested students complementary training that would enable them to do better in their dance exams, performances and competitions. Royal Academy Of Dance (RAD) Ballet Examination

At StepUp, our Ballet Curriculum is taught in accordance to the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) requirements, which is the world's most influential dance education and training organisation. Established in 1920 and counting Queen Elizabeth II as her patron, the RAD Curriculum provides Ballet training and accreditation for pre-schoolers to young adults. With presence in more than 85 countries, the annual RAD Ballet Exam are internationally recognised and students all over the world are appraised by the same RAD standards.
