Instructors

Ms Panyaporn (Book)

Ms Panyaporn Piyapan has been a part of our teaching family since 2016 and is one of our core Instructor for Ballet at SAFRA Punggol.

Known simply as Ms Book to her students and parents, she first landed on the shores of Singapore back in 2013 where she pursued her tertiary studies at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) and graduated with a Diploma in Dance in 2016. After coming on-board our team, she went on to pursue her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies by the Royal Academy of Dance in 2017 and graduated as a Registered Ballet Teacher in 2019 under the mentorship of StepUp's Founder Mrs Ng.

As a student, Ms Book started her dance training at the age of 5 at Bangkok Dance Academy under the tutelage of Ms Wallapa Pachimsawat. As an indication of her talent, she aced Distinctions in all of the Royal Academy of Dance grades and is a veteran at regional Dance Competitions such as the CSTD APAC where she won first place in Solo Competitions for Classical Ballet and Modern Jazz.

Ms Book is also the lead instructor for our Competition Team in Punggol, personally overseeing and grooming the next generation of dancers in our Dance Technique Classes and leading the charge for honours by leading the Competition training classes for our dancers, many of whom have gone on to place regularly in Dance Competitions since 2018. As an indication of the excellence Ms Book brings to the table, she has also been recognised at a personal level, winning back-to-back 'Outstanding Teacher/Choreography Awards' bestowed by the jury of the International Arts Festival (IAF) in 2022 and 2023.

For her teaching ethos, Ms Book believes in using her enthusiasm in motivating her students positively and to grow their interest in dance. She likes to make her class fun so that her students become happy dancers and always go home with a smile.
